A Day with the President of India
Ira International School experienced an unforgettable and proud moment on July 5, 2023, as Principal Mrs. Manisha Sathe, Academic Coordinator Yasmeen Begum, and the newly elected senior school cabinet had the esteemed privilege of meeting the Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at Raj Bhavan, Nagpur. The occasion was both celebratory and inspirational, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present. The Honourable President interacted warmly with the students, offering valuable advice, enquiring about their aspirations, and motivating them to achieve greater milestones. Sports Day is a much-anticipated event at Ira International School where students showcase their athletic skills through various sports and games. From track and field events to team-based activities, students actively participate with enthusiasm and determination. Through Sports Day we aim to foster a sense of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, helping children develop resilience and a healthy competitive spirit. Spelling Bee Interschool Competition
To instill the love for words, Ira International School conducted Inter school Spelling Bee Competition on 8th August 2023 to celebrate school’s Foundation Day at the Scientific Hall Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur. A total of 291 Class X students from 27 schools participated in this prestigious competition.
The Spelling Bee competition challenged students to expand their vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and boost their confidence in public speaking. Competing with peers from other schools added a sense of pride and excitement. This event was planned to sharpen the linguistic abilities, enhance focus, and to cultivate a love for language. Students gain a sense of accomplishment as they push their boundaries in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Best Out of Waste Interschool Competition
Imagination and creativity are the driving forces behind a brighter future. With this belief, Ira International School proudly organized its annual “Best Out of Waste” Interschool Competition on 31st January 2023. The theme, “Nurture Creativity: Best Out of Waste with Stones,” inspired students to think innovatively and turn ordinary stones into extraordinary works of art.
The event received an overwhelming response, with 394 students from 19 schools enthusiastically participating. It was truly a visual delight to witness the incredible creativity and vibrant imagination of young minds as they brought the stones to life with stunning colors and designs, leaving everyone spellbound.
This eco-conscious event encouraged students to unleash their creativity by crafting unique items from recyclable materials. The activity promoted environmental awareness and innovative thinking while instilling a sense of responsibility toward sustainability. Students enjoyed the hands-on experience of transforming waste into art, boosting their problem-solving skills and appreciation for resourcefulness.
Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony is organized every year at Ira International School as it is a significant milestone where student leaders take on their roles with pride and commitment. Ira International School at its Investiture Ceremony 2024, elected the cabinet members. The Principal, Mrs. Manisha Sathe, awarded badges and sashes to the young leaders, symbolizing the responsibilities they are entrusted with on their leadership journey. The Head Boy led the oath-taking ceremony, instilling a sense of duty and commitment among the council members. The event was graced by the presence of the four House Wardens, representing their respective houses. With grace and poise, the new leaders embraced their roles and pledged to uphold their duties with dedication and integrity, setting an inspiring tone for the year ahead.
